A self-taught technologist, Angelica founded TransTech Social Enterprises to provide education, professional development, and pathways into technology for transgender people and other marginalized communities. Through TransTech, she has worked to advance economic empowerment and create more inclusive opportunities within the technology industry.
Angelica is also an accomplished public speaker, host, and advocate whose work centers on racial and gender equity, LGBTQ+ rights, innovation, leadership, and social impact. She became the first openly transgender person to host a U.S. presidential candidate forum and has been recognized by organizations including the Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, Fast Company, and the Financial Times.
