Daniel Levy is a multi-hyphenate Emmy Award-winning creator who has built his career telling vibrant and comedic stories, establishing himself as a Hollywood mainstay. Levy is best known for his work on one of the most beloved shows on television, Schitt’s Creek, which he co-created with his father, Eugene Levy. The series garnered countless awards over the years and an impressive total of 165 nominations throughout its history, including nine Emmy wins for its sixth and final season, breaking major records becoming the most-awarded comedy series in a single year, the first comedy or drama series to sweep all four acting categories and receiving the most wins for a comedy series in its final season.

Levy made his directorial debut with Netflix’s Good Grief, which he wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Ruth Negga and Himesh Patel.
Levy made history co-hosting the 76th Emmy Awards with Eugene Levy, not only for making them the first father-son pair to host the show but also instrumental in having a ratings jump of over 50% from the previous year. His recent credits include The Big Brunch, which he not only created but also hosted and served as a judge alongside Chef Sohla El-Waylly and restaurateur Will Guidara, Loewe’s viral sensation Decades of Confusion, Netflix’s Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story alongside Jerry Seinfeld, a guest role on the final season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, Season 4 of Netflix’s acclaimed dramedy Sex Education, Disney’s Haunted Mansion remake, Hulu’s holiday rom-com Happiest Season and HBO’s Coastal Elites.
Levy’s upcoming acting credits include starring alongside Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, and Addison Rae in Animal Friends, a feature combining live-action and animated characters, Paramount‘s animated Smurfs movie alongside Rihanna, Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne and more, as well as Kornel Mundruczó’s drama At The Sea alongside Amy Adams, Murray Bartlett, Brett Goldstein, Jenny Slate, and Rainn Wilson.
